Dear Friends of the Art League of Long Island,
The Art League is on the move with over 250 visual arts classes available to all ages and abilities. Students develop and expand their talents under the direction of some of the finest instructors. At the same time, all our artists have the opportunity to display and promote their work at art shows and events throughout Long Island.
And now, thanks to our generous donors, business partners and sponsors, along with grants from private and public foundations, the Art League is stretching its reach to bring art programs to underserved communities and all segments of society. Adults and children with developmental disabilities, at-risk teens, individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries and substance abuse are enjoying the healing benefits of the creative process through art.
Some donors are designating funds for special scholarships of their choice. This is a great way for you to send a child or several children to the Art League’s Summer Art Adventure program, offer a free art class, or upgrade an art studio. A legacy donation made in honor or memory of someone is another way to create a gift that will live on in remembrance. Your gift to the Art League can be customized to make a difference where it matters most to you. Every gift, no matter what the size, makes a difference.
Thank you for being a part of the Art League’s outreach initiatives and supporting our efforts to enhance Long Island’s cultural life in so many ways. Our Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery has a robust calendar of exhibitions year round that are open to the public seven days a week. We welcome your visit.
Your donation is very much appreciated. If you would like to discuss your donation choice in person, please include your phone number upon donation, and I will contact you.
You can donate right now through our secure online payment system or you can mail in your donation. Visit our "donate" page on this website to learn how.
