Starting out at the Brooklyn Museum Art School in the early 1950’s gave me the first taste of Art and what it is all about. Later on Taking courses at the New York Art Students League, continued my progression as a young artist. Upon graduating from High School, I started college at Pratt night school which helped me meet accomplished artists of the day.
Having always considered myself a painter, though mixed media has been used and explored for many years thus expanding my pictorial content. In 1988 I was offered a chance to do a Arts For Transit public art project, which was installed at the Islip Train Station for more than 5 years.
To this day Art is my taskmaster and I continue to paint and grow as an artist. Along the way my work has had many chances to be seen at small regional museums and galleries on Long Island, Boston, Conn, Upstate, and New Orleans.
