Learn the foundational principles of painting well: with a focus on design, drawing, and establishing a “good start”, you can not go wrong! Painting is a series of accurate and logical steps; Instructor Howard Rose will guide you through these steps. Students will solve the first step of design: learning to draw their subject well, to look for the shapes and values. From this step, other steps are easily mastered, demystifying the painting process. Together as a class, students will make many “good starts”, turning everyday scenes into successful paintings.
