Art League of Long Island invites artists to submit artwork for our exhibition fundraiser, Love, Picasso, a group exhibition that explores contemporary interpretations of Pablo Picasso’s artistic legacy. Rather than reproductions or stylistic copies, this exhibition invites artists to respond to Picasso’s work as a point of departure—engaging with his ideas, methods, innovations, contradictions, and cultural impact through their own distinct practices. Look through his catalogue of works, and interpret them with your own lived experiences, and expand upon, reinterpret, and challenge his influence.
