COURSE DESCRIPTION

Lecturer: Laraine Pincus, PhD, LCSW Those who care for others (educators, parents, health care workers, etc.) are facing many types of stressors as a result of the COVID-18 pandemic. In order to be effective in our roles, it is important to take a few minutes to think together about the ways to replenish and cope and support each other through this difficult situation. Dr. Laraine Pincus is dedicated to sharing resources with the community about how to decrease stress during this crisis. This Q} lecture will cover the stressors people are experiencing, common responses to these stressors, mental health/wellness strategies, and art as a therapeutic tool in reducing the stress response.
