COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students will learn the basics of composition and setting up still life. Working in the beginning from one of my photos, students will learn how to draw a simple composition onto a canvas. They will learn how to create an underpainting, block in shapes and work up to the final details. Students will then be encouraged to work from life by setting up their own still life to begin their new painting.
