Design your own character from concept fo finished illustration! On day one you’ll use character prompts to get inspired, practice drawing your character from multiple viewpoints, and explore figure drawing, perspective, and anatomy. Composite your practice sketches into a finished drawing of your character. On day two, students will design a new anthropomorphic character from a flavorful concept! Instructor James Biehl will lead the class with open prompts and art references to spark the imagination and provide focus, individual instruction, and demonstrate techniques in inking and finishing illustrations.
