This class is designed for experienced Pastelists to sharpen their skills, while embracing new techniques! Students will be exposed to the many different papers and boards now available. We will discuss the varieties of Pastels and how they work in unison to create glorious color passages. Students will be encouraged to explore their chosen subject with emphasis on attaining the goal of mastering strong drawing and values. We will explore in detail the use of color temperature and value to bring life to your work! The instructor will conduct informative demonstrations to aid in

clarifying each aspect of Pastel theory. Class size will be limited to allow for longer individual instruction. If you feel you are ready to fly higher on your Pastel adventure, then this course is for you!!!!
