Wheel focused, handbuilders welcome!

This course offers an introduction to foundational ceramic techniques, with an emphasis on wheel throwing. Students will develop core skills such as centering, pulling, and shaping while gaining an understanding of the materials and processes involved in working with clay. Hand building methods are also supported, providing flexibility for students to explore alternate forming techniques. While designed with beginners in mind, all experience levels are welcome. A sketchbook or notepad is recommended for note-taking, idea development, and tracking progress throughout the course.
