Pat Ralph 1929-2022
The Art League of Long Island was heartbroken to hear of the passing of Pat Ralph. She passed away peacefully earlier this year after a long illness. Pat had been a mainstay of the Art League for many years. A founding member of the Art League, Pat served on the Board of Directors for over 20 years and for several years she served as President. Editor of the monthly newsletter, she wrote an in-depth, well-researched column in the monthly newsletter about art materials and artistic process – an invaluable technical resource for many of our members. She was deeply involved in the planning and construction of the Art League’s first permanent and current home (the Livingston Center). She also taught occasional workshops at the Art League. Pat also coordinated the exhibits for the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery and was an advocate for the arts oriented library collection at the Art League of Long Island.
