Margaret Minardi, a colored pencil instructor at the Art League of Long Island, has been selected to be artist of the month at The Long Island Museum!
Margaret Minardi lived much of her early years in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Without television or radio, she was able to foster a vivid imagination. She attended S.U.N.Y. Purchase, where she graduated at the top of her conservatory. Minardi has shown in over 250 exhibitions that include solo, group, local, national, and international venues. Her work continues to win top awards, including Best in Show in many of them, and has also graced the cover of Artist Magazine and Colored Pencil Magazine.
