Dear Friends,
Summer is in full swing at the Art League of Long Island, and we are buzzing with creativity, learning, and community engagement. Whether you’re attending a class, visiting an exhibition, participating in a special event, or exploring a new artistic path, there is something for everyone this season.
Our Summer Arts Adventure is starting soon! There is still limited availability in select sessions, so families interested in providing their children with a memorable summer arts experience are encouraged to register soon.
For high school students preparing for college admissions in the visual arts, our highly regarded Pre-College Portfolio Program also has limited openings remaining. This intensive program provides valuable guidance, portfolio development, and mentorship to help students prepare for the next step in their artistic journey.
We are also excited to continue sharing information about our Certificate of Creative Practice, an innovative program designed for adults seeking a structured and meaningful artistic experience. If you would like to learn more, please join us for an Information & Q&A Session on Wednesday, July 30, at 7:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet program mentors, ask questions, and explore whether the program is right for you.
Looking ahead, we invite the community to our annual Open House on Saturday, August 8. This popular event offers prospective students and families the opportunity to tour our facilities, meet instructors, learn about upcoming classes, and experience firsthand all that the Art League has to offer, including our Annual Instructors’ Exhibition in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery.
Before then, we hope you’ll join us for our Feast Bazaar on July 25. This exciting community event brings together art, culture, food, and fellowship, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrates the diversity and creativity of Long Island.
Thank you for being part of the Art League family. We look forward to seeing you this summer and sharing in the creativity, inspiration, and connection that the arts bring to our lives.
Best,
Marianne Della Croce
Executive Director
