About the Artist
Joyce Kubat received a BS in psychology from Michigan State University. She then studied art in New York City at Brooklyn College and The Art Students League of New York. She lives and works in Huntington, Long Island, NY, and currently monitors an Open Model Workshop at the Art League of Long Island.
An award-winning artist, she has exhibited throughout Long Island, New York City and elsewhere.
Highlights include Guild Hall Museum (solo), Hofstra University (solo), The Parrish Art Museum Biennial, The New York State Biennial (Albany), The Heckscher Museum of Art Biennial, St. Joseph’s College, Nassau County Museum of Art, Long Island Museum, Alpan Gallery, Nassau Community College, Dowling College, the Art League of Long Island, the Art Students League of NY, The Living Theatre (NYC), karyn mannix contemporary, and the Saaci/Gallery (Naples, Italy).
