The Art League of Long Island’s 16th annual “Go APE” Advanced Placement Student Exhibition features 2-D and 3-D works by 137 AP and IB Art Students from 40 Long Island High Schools. High School art teachers selected artworks from among their talented students for exhibition in the spacious Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery. Awards of Excellence and Honorable Mentions will be determined by Exhibition Juror Shain Bard. The exhibit is on view in the Art League of Long Island’s Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery February 4 through February 18.
About the Juror: Award winning artist Shain Bard has exhibited her artwork in numerous galleries from Grand Central Gallery in NYC to Elaine Benson Gallery in the Hamptons. Her works can be found in many private and corporate collections, and has graced the covers of many art newspapers and magazine covers. She has taught drawing and painting classes privately and at the Art League of Long Island for more than 24 years.
