Young artists will engage in a variety of creative experiences, which include developing artistic skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more. All young artists will develop the confidence they need to practice and create art. We will study an artist of the week, as well as find inspiration through a weekly theme. Young artists will enjoy an air-conditioned classroom and outdoor recess. Bring a bag lunch and dress for an artful summer experience. Students will be group aged appropriately. Session 3: “Candy Explosion” - July 26-30 Swim through a sea of skittles and walk through a forest of cotton candy trees. Illustrate, paint and sculpt a world made of candy. Watch out for the rainbow giraffe and critters who ate too much candy. Virtually visit Candytopia, a traveling candy art installation overflowing with sweets.
